As an investment professional, he conducted comprehensive company and industry analysis in the biotech, drug development, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors, then communicated investment recommendations to institutional and retail clients in North America and Europe, and assisted in financing numerous life sciences companies. His experience in the capital markets is balanced by a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry, with time spent at GlaxoSmithKline, and the P\S\L Consulting Group, a healthcare consulting firm, where Mr. Gowd specialized in market research, marketing and new product development, and helped pharma and health sciences companies design, execute and evaluate their drug development and marketing initiatives.
