Administrative Assistant
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include; maintenance of the company web site, coordination and production of the internal newsletter, general administrative duties, travel coordination and backup coverage for reception.
The selected candidate will have completed a diploma in Office Administration. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be able to multitask. Advanced skills are required in MS Office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Excel. In addition to your education, practical experience would be considered an asset.

Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Reserach (AHFMR) Intern
Isotechnika Inc. welcomes the opportunity to have an AHFMR Intern join our company. Working under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the internship candidate will be responsible for the continued development of the products within the Company's diagnostics division. The successful candidate will start by developing an understanding of the current intellectual property surrounding the diagnostic products, reviewing and compiling all available data, searching and understanding the literature available on breath test diagnostic technology, and reviewing the performance of the diagnostic products with clinicians. Subsequent to this, the internship candidate will make recommendations and discuss a strategy for products within the Company's diagnostics division.
As such, applicants will be required to meet eligibility criteria of the AHFMR Internship Program and are within one year of having received a PhD in a biomedical discipline preferably with a background in diabetes or diagnostics. The successful candidate should have an intermediate knowledge of MS Office, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. This position is dependent on funding approval from the AHFMR.
