Atrium Medical Corporation

On September 30, 2005, the Company signed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement for the use of TAFA93 and voclosporin specifically with drug eluting devices for the non-systemic treatment of vascular, cardiovascular disorders, target vessel and tissue disorders with Atrium Medical Corporation.

Atrium enrolled its first patient in their CONFIRM1 First-in-Man trial investigating voclosporin on a coated coronary stent on June 9, 2008.  Enrollment for the trial was completed in December 2008.  the trial is currently being conducted at seven hospitals in Belgium. 

The primary endpoint of the trial is to evaluate the safety and performance of the CINATRA TM voclosporin coated coronary stent system in patients with de novo coronary artery disease.
